Los Angeles Galaxy want to truly compete with the elite of Major League Soccer! In fact, LA Galaxy are the elite of the league that has fallen off in the last two years and now they want to chase another MLS Cup win. The evidence of that is present in the name of Cristian Pavon, the latest signing of the Californian club.
The Galaxy have announced on Thursday that the club has acquired 23-year-old forward on loan from Argentina giants Boca Juniors. Pavon, who played for Argentina in all matches at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, joins the club after playing seven years in his native country’s Primera Division. LA Galaxy used Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) to pay for the loan and the most pleased person with this deal will be Guillermo Barros Schelotto. Former Argentina international is also former Boca Juniors manager, leading them to Copa Libertadores final in 2018.
He worked with Pavon and knows very well all his qualities and his personality, which should definitely help Pavon in MLS.
