Desperate to refind their form at the back end of the season, Lazio will host Udinese at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday night.

Starting with the hosts, slumping to a 1-0 loss away at AC Milan over the weekend and without a win in their last three, Lazio are a side desperate to refind their form. Sat two points adrift of reclaiming their spot in the European positions, Simone Inzaghi will be glad to make a return to the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday night. Unbeaten in their last four contests in front of their own supporters, a run that also saw them pick up a 3-0 win over bitter-rivals Roma last month, Lazio’s 2-1 loss to Juventus back in January is their only home defeat since the start of November.

As for the visitors, suffering a 1-0 loss at the Stadio Olimpico at the hands of Roma over the weekend, Udinese are still looking over their shoulder at the bottom three. Holding just a two-point buffer from falling back into the drop zone, a huge part of their problems this season has been their issues away from the Dacia Arena. Losing five of their last six matches on the road, Igor Tudor’s side have remarkably failed to pick up a single victory on their travels since the 23rd of September. Also losing their last five consecutive matches against Lazio and conceding 11 goals in those defeats, we’re backing another tricky night for Udinese on the road.
