Leicester to rescue Ben Arfa with loan deal

Former Premier League champions Leicester are reportedly set to offer Paris Saint-German’s forgotten man Hatem Ben Arfa a way out of his Parisian nightmare with a loan deal in January, according to ESPN.

Ben Arfa’s previous spell in English football with Newcastle was marred by inconsistency, though the Frenchman did score one of the best goals ever seen in Premier League football against Bolton.

Now Leicester manager Claude Puel is hoping that the midfielder can recreate goals like that, as well as his form for Nice in the 2015-16 season that saw him bag 17 goals in 34 Ligue 1 games.

The France international has found game time relatively hard to come by at PSG, which is perhaps unsurprising given the vast array of talent that the French giants possess.

Ben Arfa is yet to play a single minute in the league for the Parisian club this season and a move to the Premier League could be exactly what the 30-year old needs to reinvigorate his career.
