Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner insists he is very happy with the Serie A champions and has no plans to leave.

The Switzerland international was being linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain during the transfer window, but feels the conditions at his current club are too good to pass up.

“The simple truth is that we (players) don’t change clubs as easily as some people seem to think,” the right-back told Le Matin.

“Juventus are one of the biggest clubs in the world and I feel very well here.

“I feel loved at the club and we will be playing Champions League football again this term. We’re challenging for all trophies. There’s no other place where I could find this.

“All this has really strengthened my desire to stay here. I have absolutely no reason to leave.

“And to be honest, I have not received any extraordinary offers.”

Lichtsteiner is under contract with Juventus until June 2015.
