Liverpool 31/20 to beat Roma in Tuesdays Champions League semi-final matchup

Competition: Champions League

Market: Liverpool to beat Roma

Odds: 31/20 @ Bet365

Liverpool are on the cusp of reaching a Champions League final against Real Madrid as they look to defend a three-goal lead against AS Roma in the Italian capital.

For Eusebio Di Francesco’s Roma side, although the Red and Yellows have recently shown signs of improvement and stunningly came past Barcelona in the quarterfinals, Roma will know that the odds on them producing a second upset is highly unlikely. If Roma are to do the impossible they will be looking for striker Eden Dzeko to carry on his recent fine form, coming off the back of a 4-1 win at Chievo last weekend, the former Manchester City forward scored a brace and now has 16 for this Serie A season.

For Jurgen Klopp’s traveling Liverpool side, the reds find their confidence at a season-high and will know that one more disciplined performance will land them in their first Champions League final in over a decade. Although they’re coming off the back of a 0-0 draw with Premier League strugglers Stoke City last time out, Liverpool put five past Roma in the first leg and are still in fine goalscoring form. Yet to be beaten in Europe and scoring 12 in their last 12 Champions League outings, forward Mohamed Salah now has 31 in the league and has found the net 11 times in his last eight games in all competitions.
