Liverpool have bid rejected for Lazio’s Keita

Premier League giants Liverpool have failed in their attempt to sign Lazio forward Balde Diao Keita, according to Sky Sport Italia.

The Reds were determined to sign the youngster who had shown a great deal of promise at Stadio Olimpico last term, but their efforts have proved unsuccessful.

Sky Sport Italia has suggested that Liverpool had a €20 million bid rejected for the 19-year-old footballer with Lazio reportedly holding out for whopping €30 million.

The Biancocelesti regard the Senegalese forward as a hot prospect for the future and they are keen to hold on to his services for as long as possible.

Keita has largely impressed in his first ever professional season, making a total of 35 competitive appearances and scoring 6 goals in the process.

His suitors Liverpool hope they can mount another serious title challenge in the league and they are 10/1 to lift the Premier League trophy.
