(GSM) – Cristiano Ronaldo makes sure he will not underestimate the Italian teams remaining in the Champions League this season.

Ronaldo has bad memories of playing against Milan in particular while at Manchester United.

Previewing the upcoming Champions League knock out stages, Ronaldo looked forward to United’s clash with the Rossoneri.

“It’s going to be tough for Manchester,” the Real Madrid forward told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I would say 50-50 because even though United have something more on paper I have played against Milan on a couple of occasions and they are a very tough opponent who can certainly go through to the next round.

“The Italian teams remain difficult to beat.”

As for Chelsea’s tie with Internazionale, Ronaldo said: “See the above. I repeat that it’s 50-50. And with the additional spectacle of Mourinho’s return to Stamford Bridge.

“In my opinion the Chelsea fans will give him a good reception for everything that he has done for the club, for the mentality and his competency.”

Finally, the 24-year-old winger gave his opinion on Kaka’s adaption problems at Real Madrid.

“Some players need more time to adapt themselves. I think to Benzema, for example. But in Kaka’s case it’s been the hernia more than the anxiety that’s stopped him.

“We have started to see his great talent now that the physical problems have been overcome and he feels much better.

“Kaka will do well here, because he is an exceptional player, a great person and because you don’t lose your qualities from one month to another,” Ronaldo concluded.
