Looking to continue what has become a stellar start to the new MLS campaign, a high-flying LAFC will welcome Dallas to Banc of California Stadium in the early hours of Friday morning.

Starting with the hosts, coming off the back of another impressive display in their 3-0 win away at Columbus last weekend, LAFC are enjoying a stellar start to the new year. Already holding a five-point buffer at the top of the Western Conference and losing just one of their opening 12 matchups, Bob Bradley will be most impressed by his sides’ performances in the final third. Holding the best attacking record across either of the Conferences, one man to watch on Friday will be leading goalscorer, Carlos Vela. Finding the net last weekend, the former Arsenal striker already has 12 MLS goals to his name and sits three clear in the goalscoring charts.

As for the visitors, while Los Angeles might be continuing on their bright start to the year, FC Dallas have recently started to show some signs of a struggle. Coming off the back of a 3-1 hammering at home to the New York Red Bulls last time out, Luchi Gonzalez’s side have suffered back-to-back defeats and are without a win in their last three appearances. Now sat 10 points adrift of their hosts on Friday and a clear gulf in class on display at the start of the new MLS season, we’re backing a comfortable victory for a high-flying LAFC.
