Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirmed on Friday that the losses against Manchester United and Manchester City were `accidents` on the way to success. So far, The Gunners have proved they are tough to beat with ten wins and just two losses this season.

`I think that this year, even more that other years, you can speak of two accidents,` Wenger said.

`We realise, we have many quality. After the losses, we didn`t thought we weren`t good enough.

`On the contrary: those defeats have strengthened our willpower and believe.`

Arsenal takes on Birmingham City in the own Emirates Stadium, this Saturday.
