Lyon hold talks with Arsene Wenger

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Olympique Lyonnais aka Lyon are said to have held talks with Arsene Wenger over the possibility of him taking over from Bruno Genesio as the club’s manager. The big question for months has been whether or not the Frenchman is going to return to management at some point in the near future, but at this point, he has yet to do so. Wenger’s last role was with Arsenal where he spent more than two decades, but in the last few years of his time at the club, things started to become a little bit sour. Despite that a lot of fans have chosen to remember the positive things about his time in charge as opposed to the negatives, although the fact that he hasn’t taken on a new role hasn’t really allowed people to separate him from his time at the Emirates/Highbury.

Whether or not that will change remains to be seen.
