Lyon set huge price for Ndombele

Olympique Lyon have slapped a huge price on Tanguy Ndombele, according to reports in Italy.

The 22-year-old midfielder has impressed and attracted attention from clubs around Europe with his commanding presence in the middle of the park, and his exploits have prompted Lyon manager Bruno Genesio to compare him with World Cup winner Paul Pogba.

There is a possibility of the two players linking up at Old Trafford with Manchester United reportedly interested in Ndombele, but it may have become less likely with Rai Sport claiming Lyon would want a sum of €85 million for his services. The Italian outlet also claims that such a figure is likely to prove too much for Juventus as well, despite the Old Lady being another big club with strong interest in the France international.

The Ligue 1 side are in a strong position when it comes to this particular player, with his contract not due to expire before the summer of 2023.
