Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette 2/1 to join Paris Saint-Germain this summer

Olympique Lyonnais striker Alexandre Lacazette has been linked with a move away from the Parc Olympique Lyonnais in a bid to become a top European striker. His snub from the France national team ahead of this summer’s Euro 2016 is sure to see him make the necessary switch to a more reputable club, and perennial Ligue 1 champions PSG might be his next home as a result.

Lacazette scored 21 goals in 34 games for Lyon this season, and bagged two goals in the Champions League for his troubles too, but has ended the campaign without adding to his trophy cabinet. For a player continually scoring upwards of 20 league goals a season, Lacazette is wasted at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.

PSG are on the hunt for a new striker after the exit of Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer, and might consider the 25-year-old worth the money given his consistent record in Ligue 1. Lyon won’t sell him for cheap, however, turning down £25M in January from Newcastle, but PSG aren’t short of cash.

As a result, 888 Sport are giving odds of 2/1 for Alexandre Lacazette to join Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
