The Dutch top clash between Feyenoord and Twente ended 1-1 thanks to an injury time penalty from Roy Makaay. PSV and Ajax both won their games.

Nicky Kuiper put Twente ahead after 74 minutes at De Kuip stadium, but then caused a penalty by handling the ball in added time. This allowed former Deportivo and Bayern Munich striker Makaay to level from the spot.

The two sides do lose their shared top position to AZ Alkmaar.

PSV earned a 0-2 win at FC Groningen thanks to two second-half goals from Danny Koevermans. The forward first netted after a Balasz Dszudszak assist in the 66th minute, and again received a pass from the Hungarian in the 80th to double the advantage.

Ajax needed 68 minutes for Toby Alderweireld to score the opening goal at Heracles, after which Dario Cvitanich and Ismail Aissati added late goals for a 0-3 final result. Quansah of Heracles was sent off in the 70th minute.

PSV are currently in shared second position with Feyenoord and Twente, and Ajax share fifth place with NAC and Utrecht. The latter have a game in hand.
