Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola praises Jeremy Doku impact after winger assists match-winning goal against Aston Villa (Video)

Manchester City booked a crucial 2-1 victory over Aston Villa in the race for the Champions League places.

Bernardo Silva struck first in the seventh minute, and Marcus Rashford netted an equalizer from the spot in the 18th. Though City gradually took control of the match in the second half, it seemed they wouldn’t get more than a point for their efforts.

And then, in thee 94th minute, substitute Jeremy Doku broke down the left flank and his square across the six yards found Matheus Nunes at the far post for a late winner.

City boss Pep Guardiola was full of praise for the 22-year-old winger after the match.
