According to reports in Italy, Juventus are interested in signing Jadon Sancho from Manchester United this summer, with the 20-time English champions demanding a sum of £25million for the services of the winger.
Sancho joined United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 for a reported fee of €85million, but his impact at Old Trafford has been hugely underwhelming and disciplinary issues arose rather quickly. He was sent back to Dortmund on loan in January 2024, and spent last season on a temporary spell at Chelsea. In all competitions, he made just 83 appearances for United, scoring 12 goals and contributing no more than six assists. His contract has now entered its final year, and there is obviously no future for him in Ruben Amorim’s side.
As for Juventus, they’ve tried to sign Porto’s Francisco Conceicao permanently after a successful loan, but their initial offer on that front has been rejected and they’ve turned to Sancho as an alternative. The only way the Serie A giants would pursue both players is if Nico Gonzalez is allowed to leave, which doesn’t look likely at this point.
