Mancini likes Kolarov

(GSM) – Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has confirmed that his admiration for Lazio full-back Aleksandar Kolarov. Reports suggest that City have made an official bid for the Serbian defender.

Kolarov has caught the eye of several top European clubs after putting in impressive performances in the Lazio shirt. Real Madrid have also been linked with the player.

Meanwhile, Lazio president Claudio Lotito, who had previously insisted the player is not for sale, has now reportedly set a price-tag of €22m on the Serb’s head.

When asked about City’s interest in Kolarov, Mancini told Radio Sei: “He is a very good player too. He is young. He has improved and can still improve.”
