West Ham can take a giant step towards Premier League survival as they face relegation-threatened Stoke City on Monday night at the Olympic Stadium.

Under former Manchester United boss David Moyes, West Ham have arguably transformed into the Premier League’s inconsistent side. After suffering off-fields issues couple with a 3-0 defeat at home to Burnley before the international break, many believed that West Ham were slipping into a relegation battle. However, coming off the back of an empathic 3-0 win against Southampton and a 1-1 draw away at Stamford Bridge last weekend, the Hammers now sit six points ahead of the drop zone and will now be looking at the top half of the table. For West Ham, the Clarets will once again be reliant on Austrian international Marko Arnautovic, along with having nine for the season, Aranutovic now has five in his last five appearances, including two against his former club earlier in the year.

As for the Potters, after appointing former Wolves manager Paul Lambert as the successor to Mark Hughes in their bid to avoid the drop, Stoke have struggled to make any kind of impact and are now considered one of the favorites for the chop. Coming off the back of a 2-1 home defeat to Spurs last time out, the Potters are now on a nine-match winless run in the Premier League and their defensive issues have shown no signs of improving. Conceding two or more goals in their last four matches on the bounce, no team in England’s top flight have conceded more goals than Lambert’s side.
