Juventus are bidding to reach the Coppa Italia final for the second successive year but they face a fired-up Lazio in Tuesday’s semi-final.

The two teams fought out a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Rome and Lazio’s Stefano Mauro is optimistic the club can find the winner.

“Tomorrow’s match is worth a lot, because getting to the Coppa Italia final is important. We got here quite easily and we care about it a lot,” Mauro said.

“We have already won the Coppa Italia in the past and we want to try and bring the trophy to Rome again.

“Juventus is like any other opponent in our minds – it’s the same.

“We all know that (Miroslav) Klose is a great player, he’s always dangerous when he has a chance to score.

“But (Sergio) Floccari has proved he’s at the same level. He played three extraordinary games. He has different characteristics and helps the team a lot.

“He proved he can cope with the situation very well. But then of course Klose is a great champion, there’s no need to say it.”

Veteran Andrea Pirlo returns for the second leg at Stadio Olimpico after the missing the past three matches through injury.
