Michael Ciani joins LA Galaxy

LA Galaxy have announced on their official website that they have completed the signing of French defender Michael Ciani from LA Galaxy.

The 33-year-old joins on a free transfer after his contract with Lorient had expired back in June.

Once his International Transfer Certificate and P-1 Visa arrive, the centre-back will be officially added to the roster.

Michael Ciani will speak to the media after tomorrow’s training session at StubHub Center, while he is expected to soon be in contention for official matches.

Having made almost 300 league appearances for Sedan, Lorient, Bordeaux, Lazio, Sporting CP and Espanyol, the veteran defender brings a wealth of experience with him and he is expected to improve the defence that conceded 47 goals in 26 games this term.
