Milan keen on Nastasic loan deal

AC Milan are keen on signing Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic on loan when the transfer window reopens, according to Talksport.

The Serbia international, who played in last night’s abandoned European qualifier against Albania in Belgrade yesterday evening, moved to Manchester in the summer of 2012 and has so far racked up fifty-one appearances for the club in all competitions, with his only goal coming in a 7-0 rout over Norwich City at the Etihad Stadium last November.

However, he has not played under Manuel Pellegrini since the Community Shield defeat to Arsenal with captain Vincent Kompany and Martin Demichellis ahead of him in the pecking order.

Milan, currently managed by former striker Filippo Inzaghi, currently sit in fifth place in Serie A after taking eleven points from their opening six games.

The eighteen time Italian champions can be backed at 25/1 to win their first title in four years.
