The biggest battle of the first stage of the Champions League 2009/10 is, without a doubt, Inter Milan-Barcelona. Last year`s winner Barca visits the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium tonight.

“They play together as a team much longer than we do and I have five new players to fit in,” Inter boss Jose Mourinho said on a press conference ahead of the game.

“We also play different than we used to do but I don`t consider us to be the underdog tonight. It`s a match between two teams packed with quality that both want to win the game.”

Mourinho doesn`t consider Zlatan`s Ibrahimovic`s departure to Barcelona as a problem. Especially because Samuel Eto`o went the other way.

“The truth is that the way Samuel plays is better for Inter than Zlatan`s style. Let`s say the transfer worked out fine for all of us. I have a weak spot for Zlatan but I hope he will play poor against us.”

The Special One looks forward to the clash between the reigning champions of Italy and Spain. “This is the match everybody wants to watch. The match everybody wants to play. I feel responsible for a good result for Inter Milan.”

Not for the first time in his coaching career Mourinho concluded his story with a surprise.

“If you want me to, I could end all speculations and reveal my starting lineup. After that we can all go home. Cesar; Maicon, Samel, Lucio and Chivu; Zanetti, Stankovic or Muntari, Motta, Sneijder; Eto`o and Milito.”
