Looking to pick up back-to-back victories in Florida, Orlando City will play host to a struggling LA Galaxy outfit on Saturday.

Starting with the hosts, putting in a season-best showing in their empathic 5-1 win over Cincinnati last weekend, many around Florida will be hoping that result is a turning point in Orlando’s season. Looking to secure a play-off spot in the Eastern Conference this season, a huge part of the Purples top-seven push has come down to their continued showings at the Orlando City Stadium. James O’Connor’s side have won three of their last four matchups on home soil and one man who has continued to shine is former Manchester United forward, Nani. Bagging a brace last weekend, the Portuguese international has already scored an eye-catching seven goals in his debut MLS campaign and those seven goals have come in his last six appearances.

As for the visitors, putting in yet another worrying display in their 1-0 loss at home to Colorado last weekend, many around California are growing concerned by LA Galaxy’s sluggish run. Former Boca Juniors boss Guillermo Barros Schelotto has seen his side lose their last four appearances on the bounce and will also be unable to call upon Zlatan Ibrahimović this weekend who will be serving a two-match suspension. A huge part of the Whites’ issues of late has come down to their struggles on the road. Saturday’s visitors have lost back-to-back matches away from Dignity Health Sports Park, conceding six goals in those two defeats.
