Napoli close to signing Lozano

According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Italian side Napoli are on the verge of completing the signing of Hirving Lozano from PSV Eindhoven. The Mexican sensation has been with the Dutch club since back in 2017, when he made the jump over from Pachuca. In that time he’s been able to establish himself as a really strong attacking presence, which is why he’s starting to attract the attention of other top European clubs.

A series of other teams are believed to be interested in addition to just Napoli, but the Italians are indeed the frontrunners. There have been several rounds of talks between the two parties, with the asking price currently being set at £35 million. Napoli are said to be more than willing to pay that, and if that’s the case, it’s only a matter of time until we get some kind of official announcement from either club – or Lozano himself.
