Nasri completes City switch

Manchester City have completed the signing of Samir Nasri from Arsenal on a four-year deal for a fee of 24 million pounds.

After a full summer pursuing the midfielder, Roberto Mancini finally got his man as the 24-year-old Frenchman signed a deal that ties him to the Etihad Stadium side until 2015 after completing a medical on Tuesday.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had said that Nasri would not be leaving the Emirates this transfer window but the playmaker became unsettled after hearing of interest from City and a reported 180,000 pounds-per-week wage offer.

It now means the Gunners have lost two massive names in as many weeks following the departure of Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona and after a fairly average start to the season the pressure is mounting on Wenger to bring in quality players to match those who have left.
