Naughton completes Swansea switch

Swansea City have completed the signing of Kyle Naughton from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur, according to Sky Sports.

The full-back had made just five league appearances for the North London club this season, and moves to South Wales outfit on a three-and-a-half year deal.

Prior to moving to White Hart Lane in the summer of 2009, Naughton made fifty appearances for Sheffield United, the club where he began his career while he has gone on to have loan spells with Middlesbrough, Leicester City and Norwich City.

Internationally, the 26 year old has been capped nine time for the England U21’s, though he is yet to feature for the senior side.

Swansea currently sit ninth in the Premier League, but this weekend turn their attention to their FA Cup fourth round tie at Championship side Blackburn Rovers, where they can be backed at a price of 11/8 for the win.
