Competition: MLS

Market: New York RB win

Odds: 8/13 @ Bet 365

Looking to carry on their immaculate record at the Red Bull Arena, Jesse Marsch’s side will host a struggling Seattle Sounders outfit on Thursday morning.

For Marsch’s side, after thumping arch-rivals New York City 4-0 in the US Open Cup last week, The Red Bulls have carried on their recent fine run of form and a win on Thursday will certainly close the gap at the top of the Eastern Conference. Now losing one of their last eight, New York RB currently boasts a stellar record at home and along with not losing a match at the Red Bull Arena since February, the hosts have also won their last three matches against The Sounders at home.

As for Brian Schmetzer’s Seattle side, although only their record against Toronto kept them from topping the Eastern Conference last year, The Sounders have been drastically short of form this time around and now sit third bottom in the table. While they are coming off the back of a 2-1 win over fellow strugglers DC United, Seattle had lost their last four matches on the bounce prior to the victory and also came crashing out of the cup to lower leaguer Sacramento Republic last week. The visitors have also failed to register a single goal in their last three matches on the road.
