Newcastle United have been having a poor season under manager Alan Pardew, with the Magpies 18th in the Premier League. United have four points from seven games so far, while still winless in 2014/15. Their poor form has continued from the tail end of last season, with the Toon Army having won just five games from 26 this year.

With the North-East outfit not looking likely of arresting their slide down the table, Ladbrokes are giving odds of 1/8 for Newcastle to finish the campaign in the bottom half of the table. Alan Pardew’s job is on the line this season, with his side having conceded 14 goals already.

Supporters are losing faith in the club due to little progress being made. Newcastle started the 2013/14 campaign in fantastic form, when they were on course to push for a top-six finish. But after selling their best player Yohan Cabaye to French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, their form plummeted.
