Competition: Premier League
Market: Newcastle to finish in the top-10
Odds: 9/2 @ Bet 365

In addition to winning their last two consecutive Premier League games, Newcastle beat Capital One Cup holders Manchester City last night at the Etihad stadium, and Alan Pardew’s men have now won three on the bounce.

The Magpies beat Leicester City 1-0 and Tottenham 2-1 in the league, and now Manchester City 2-0 in the League Cup. Supporters were previously worried that Newcastle would be languishing around the relegation zone, but their recent form has given them confidence that they can climb back up the Premier League table.

Bet 365 are giving odds of 9/2 for United to finish in the top-10 this season, as they achieved last campaign. Pardew knows he must deliver to keep his job, but they still have some work to do, as the Toon Army are in 14th place. But a victory in their next league outing could see them in the top-half of the table 10 games into the season.

They have a shaky Liverpool side on the weekend at St James’ Park, and will be confident of a result.
