Newcastle United are interested in signing Scott McTominay from Napoli in the summer transfer window, according to Sports Boom. Crystal Palace are also said to be keen on bringing the former Manchester United midfielder back to the Premier League.
McTominay has been a resounding success at Napoli, with whom he has won Serie A. The Scotland international midfielder is hugely popular among the Napoli fans and has been playing well consistently for the Italian giants.
According to the report, Napoli will demand £60-70million for McTominay. Newcastle have already made an enquiry to sign the Scotsman, with a source saying: “Newcastle have asked the question and they’re seriously considering their options. They like what McTominay would bring.” Newcastle are not in a great position in the Premier League table at the moment and could struggle to finish in the top five.
