November 26th: Tuesday’s Champions League Double – 6/1 Special, Betting Tips & Predictions

With the Champions League getting back underway on Tuesday night, we have a stacked European schedule from across the continent.

Watching Premier League giants Manchester City desperately seek a much-needed boost, we have nine heavyweight Champions League showdowns on the cards.

For those of you looking to stick on a midden flutter, we have taken a glance at some of the most appealing Champions League betting tips.

17:45 Sparta Prague vs Atletico Madrid

Although Atletico Madrid might have signed off October in the midst of a wobble, Tuesday’s guests have come roaring back in some style. Marking their return from November’s international break with a 2-1 victory at home against Alaves, Diego Simeone’s men are riding a real wave of momentum. Last seen in Champions League action collecting a heavyweight scalp as they claimed a famous 2-1 win away at PSG, Atletico have now won each of their previous five appearances across all competitions. Enjoying their longest winning run since back in January, Simeone’s side will also be excited by their recent success on the road. In fact, the Spanish giants have won each of their last three showdowns outside of Madrid by an aggregate score of 5-1. Despite their European inconsistencies this season, Atletico should be smelling a golden opportunity here.

While Sparta Prague might have successfully defended their domestic crown last season, the Czech icons have drastically struggled to find any kind of stability this time around. Suffering a second-half collapse on home soil last weekend as they eventually had to settle for a 1-1 stalemate against Teplice, Lars Friis certainly finds some mounting pressure on his shoulders. Heading into November’s international break with an action-packed 2-2 stalemate away at Mlada Boleslav, the former Viborg boss has seen his downbeat squad win just one of their previous seven appearances across all competitions. Likewise, last seen in Champions League action falling to a 2-1 defeat at home against French outfit Brest, Sparta Prague have shown some glaring defensive struggles. Including a shock 3-1 drumming at the hands of Ostrava earlier in the month, it should be noted that Friis’ side have shipped six goals in their last three showdowns in front of their own supporters.

20:00 Barcelona vs Brest

While Barcelona might have embarked on a sensational rise since Hansi Flick’s arrival over the summer, Tuesday’s hosts are seeking a welcomed boost here. Collecting just a single point from their previous two La Liga showdowns on either side of November’s international break, the Spanish giants will be excited to turn their attention back to Champions League action. Last seen on the European stage storming their way to an action-packed 5-2 victory away at Red Star, the German tactician has seen his squad win three of their first four Champions League showdowns. Making a major statement last month as they claimed a 4-1 romp at home against Bayern Munich, Barca have certainly gained a fearsome reputation for their free-scoring performances in the final third. In fact, Flick’s side have remarkably notched 27 goals in just their first seven appearances at the Nou Camp.

Although Brest might have enjoyed a remarkable Champions League romp since getting their maiden European adventure underway back in September, the Pirates find themselves at the heart of a real struggle. Marking their return from November’s international break with an action-packed 3-2 loss away at Monaco, Tuesday’s guests are suddenly looking over their shoulder at a Ligue 1 relegation scrap. Heading into the fortnight interval with a shock 3-1 defeat against Montpellier, Eric Roy’s side have lost each of their last three domestic showdowns by an aggregate score of 7-3. Gaining a reputation for their glaring defensive struggles and failing to muster a single clean sheet since the start of October, Brest should be bracing themselves for a real examination here. Shipping six goals in their back-to-back showdowns on the road, Roy’s downbeat squad are rightfully installed as a landslide underdog here.
