With another Saturday afternoon full of action from across the Football League, we here at Soccer News have found a handful of helpful tips that can boost your weekend acca:

Saturday 6th October

15:00 BST Sheffield United vs Hull

After a summer of ins and outs at Bramall Lane, Chris Wilders’ Sheffield United side have started the new Championship campaign in impressive fashion. Coming off the back of a 2-0 win away at Blackburn on Wednesday night, the Blades have now won their last three outings on the bounce and only their goal difference sees them behind Leeds and Middlesbrough at the top of the table. Now scoring eight in their last three, one man to watch for Saturday’s hosts will be long-serving captain Billy Sharp. Scoring both goals against Blackburn in midweek, the 32-year-old now has four in his last three and sits second in the Championship’s goalscoring charts. Up against a struggling Hull side, the Blades forward should fancy his chances of carrying on his impressive tally. Nigel Adkins Tigers are now without a win in their last four appearances and their 18 goals conceded this season means they hold the second worst defensive record in the division.

Tip: Billy Sharp to score anytime @ 6/4

15:00 Yeovil vs Exeter

For Exeter, although Saturday’s visitors may have fallen short at Wembley in the playoff final last season, the Grecians appear to have put last years heartbreak behind them. Bringing in former defender Matt Taylor to replace their long-standing manager Paul Tisdale, Exeter are certainly adjusting well to life under Taylor. Coming off the back of a 1-0 win over Stevenage, the Whites are now unbeaten in their last seven matches in all competitions, they have also won six of those outings. Now just two points adrift of Lincoln at the top of the table, they also hold the second best-attacking stats in League Two. One man to watch will be top goalscorer Jayden Stockley, finding the net 19 times last season, he already has six to his name. Taylor’s side should be confident of extending their unbeaten run at Huish Park on Saturday. Yeovil are now without a win in their last four, losing three of those matches, they have now shipped 10 goals in their winless run and have failed to win their last three matches at home. One of those defeats included being knocked out of the EFL Trophy by Exeter last month.

Tip: Away win @ 8/5

15:00 Doncaster vs Fleetwood

While it may have been a slow start to the season for Doncaster, Grant McCann’s side have enjoyed an impressive rise up the League One table. Although they are coming off the back of a 1-0 loss away to Accrington Stanley, Rovers have won their other four league matches. Scoring 11 times in their last five matches, the hosts will have the opportunity to leapfrog Peterborough into the automatic positions. Their recent run of form has come down to the goalscoring exploits of 26-year-old John Marquis. Now finding the net five times in his last four outings, he also sits joint top of the League One goalscoring charts. It is also worth noting that their last four wins have seen the match finish with over 2.5 goals. As for the visitors, although it was a bright start for Fleetwood, they appear to have slipped back to the defensive issues that plagued them last season. Now without a win in their last five matches in all competitions, they have also failed to keep a clean sheet in their last eight.

Tip: Home win and over 2.5 goals @ 2/1
