In what looks like it should be an extremely lively encounter on Thursday, league leaders New York RB II will make the trip to Indiana looking to extend their buffer at the top of the table.

Starting with the hosts, while Indy Eleven may have been disappointed to have only picked up a point against Louisville last time out, they are enduring a very impressive purple patch. Tasting defeat just once since the middle of July, Tim Hankinson’s has seen his men climb as high as fourth in the East and they’re desperate to make a late charge for their hosts on Thursday. Really starting to click in the final third, a huge part of their recent success has been their form in Indiana. Enjoying a three-match winning run on home soil, they are also yet to taste defeat at the Lucas Oil Stadium this season.

As for the visitors, while Indy Eleven might be enjoying a purple patch in the second half of the season, New York Red Bull’s second team have also enjoyed a very eye-catching run. Putting five past Swope Park Rangers and extending their buffer at the top of the East, the mood in their camp remains on a high. Now winning five of their last six and continuing to shine in the final third, no team in either the West or the East have scored more goals than Thursday’s guests. With both side really starting to shine in the final third, we’re backing another lively encounter in Indiana this week.
