Ozil heading to Major League Soccer?

According to a recent report from Daily Star, Mesut Ozil looks set to leave Arsenal in January in favour of a move to Major League Soccer.

Ozil recently released a statement noting his disappointment over how things have worked out for him as of late at the Emirates, and as a direct result of that, it seems as if he’s now aiming to leave North London.

He’d clearly prefer to stay and fight for his place in the first team but after not being included in the Gunners’ Premier League squad for the season, he doesn’t have much choice in the matter.

There are multiple clubs in the MLS that are starting to build a real foundation and while veteran players do tend to go there to enjoy the final few years of their career, Ozil still has a lot left in the tank and he is eager to go out there and prove that.
