Odds: 20/21 @ Bet 365

With a win on Wednesday confirming their spot in the knockout stage of this years Champions League, Borussia Dortmund will host Club Brugge on Wednesday.

Starting with the hosts, doing a very impressive job on capitalizing on Bayern Munich’s public struggles, it has been quite the start for Lucien Farve. Sat with a four point advantage at the top of the Bundesliga table and also sat top of Group A in the Champions League, the Yellow and Blacks have now lost just one matchup across all competitions this season. Now winning their last three on the bounce, including a 3-2 win at home to Bayern earlier in the month, one man to watch for the hosts will be the red-hot Paco Alcacer. Scoring in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Maiz, the former Barcelona man now has three in his last three and already has 10 in his last 10. Remarkably, the 25-year-old has now scored with each shot on target so far this year.

As for the visitors, while Club Brugge did pick up a very impressive 4-0 win away at a struggling Monaco earlier in the month, Ivan Leko’s side have recently hit a poor run of form. Putting in a seasons worst performance in their 3-1 loss at home to midtable Zulte-Waregem on Saturday, Brugge have now lost their last two league matches on the bounce, conceding five goals. Also losing the reverse fixture against Dortmund back in September, we’re backing a difficult nights work for the Belgian side.
