Juventus midfielder Simone Padoin is eagerly anticipating Sunday’s Serie A match at home against Catania.

Catania came close to beating Inter Milan last weekend as they went two goals up before eventually losing 3-2, and Padoin believes they could cause Juve problems as well.

“They’re the revelation of the season. Last Sunday, they were beating Inter comfortably before a lapse in concentration cost them victory,” Padoin told Juventus Channel.

“We also witnessed how good they are during the reverse fixture, it’s a compact and tightly-knit unit. They will cause us problems and it’ll be a tough match.”

The midfielder also briefly discussed the upcoming Champions League draw, and said he would not mind meeting Real Madrid in the next round.

“Now we’ll see who we get in the next round. Real Madrid are the strongest team left in the competition, but it would be amazing to play against them.”

The draw for the quarter-finals takes place in Nyon on Friday.
