Palladino could have rejoined Juventus

Genoa forward Raffaele Palladino has revealed that co-owners Juventus tried to get him back during the January transfer window.

Juventus considered brining Palladino back to the club, when Vincenzo Iaquinta was linked with a move to Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg.

“I could have rejoined Juventus in January,” Palladino told Radio Radio. “But I wanted to stay here for the time being.

“I feel good. I’m happy here and we’ll have to wait and see what happens in the future.

“If I am to go back to Turin, it will be up to both sides to make the decision.”

He added: “I have recovered from the injury that sidelined me for over a month.

“I hope to be in the starting 11 for the game against Roma because it will be a very exciting match.”
