Germany manager Joachim Loew said a perfect winning record in Euro 2012 qualifying is the short-term aim for the European powerhouse.

Having won their eight matches in qualifying thus far, Loew’s men are eyeing a perfect record heading into next year’s tournament in Poland and Ukraine.

However, Loew is well aware of how desperate upcoming opponents Turkey and Belgium will be, with the two nations set to fight it out for second place in Group A.

“We have the aim to remain unbeaten in the qualification. We will try to win the last two games because it could be a milestone for us. 10 games and 10 wins would be our wish,” Loew said.

“But we know that we will be challenged this time against Turkey and Belgium. For them a lot is at stake; both fight for the participation at the tournament.”

“The motivation could not be bigger for the Turkish and the Belgian side. And of course, both nations will give everything for a second place.”

Loew flagged some game time for Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marco Reus in one of their upcoming clashes.

“I think it is about time that Marco Reus played for us,” Loew said. “He is a player who goes directly for the goal and creates lots of chances.”

“In a wide position, as he has played in past, he can give life to every game, even with us, so he will certainly play in one of these games.”
