Portuguese giants FC Porto are keeping close tabs on Santos starlet Geuvanio Santos Silva, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Dragons have been alerted of the player’s potential a while back and they plan to bring him to Estadio do Dragao in the near future.
The 22-year-old is the product of club’s youth school and has been likened to Barcelona superstar Neymar for his style of play.
Geuvanio is already a first team regular at Santos, and has so far made 60 league appearances, scoring 11 goals in the process.
He was close to joining Portuguese side Academica de Coimbra a year and a half ago, but the deal eventually fell through.
The player, who has a contract until December 2017, has mostly been used on the wing, but he is also capable of playing as a centre forward and has been paired with Leandro Damiao in attack this season.
