Brisbane Roar coach Ange Postecoglou has been linked with J.League club Urawa Red Diamonds.

And Postecoglou has not completely dismissed the prospect, stating that he would think about an offer if it came his way but for now he is entirely focussed on the Roar’s A-League campaign.

The struggling Japanese giants, who recently parted ways with Montenegrin boss Zeljko Petrovic, are reportedly keen on the Australian coach who guided Brisbane to the A-League title last term.

“If they did make me an offer, I’d think about it then,” Postecoglou told Melbourne’s Herald Sun newspaper.

“I’ve never made plans too far in the future with coaching because things are always changing. All I’m focused on is being successful as I can with Brisbane, and keep building what we’ve started.”

Urawa, who were J-League champions in 2006 and Asian champions in 2007, are currently 16th in the Japanese top flight, just two points above the drop zone with four games to play.

Meanwhile, Postecoglou will be hoping to build on Brisbane’s success when they are pitted against the best teams in Asia as part of the 2012 Asian Champions League and the Australian knows exactly what he wants from his premiership-winning team.

“Our goal is to match it with the best teams in Asia. Our players have already been recognised, and if that happens, I’m sure our coaches will as well,” he said.
