Elliot Grandin shone on his Crystal Palace debut with two goals in a 4-1 victory over Dulwich Hamlet on Tuesday.

The winger signed from Blackpool on Friday and was the star of the show against non-League Dulwich, who had Erhun Oztumer’s goal to show for their efforts.

There were also contributions on the scoresheet from 19-year-old midfielder Jonathan Williams and Congo International Yannick Bolasie for Palace.

Trialist Osman Sow was named in a starting line-up that balanced youth and experience, and the young forward threatened in the opening minutes before debutant Grandin managed to break the deadlock after 27 minutes.

However, the hosts responded brightly it was only 13 minutes before Oztumer slotted past Lewis Price to level the scores.

Palace upped the tempo after the interval and Grandin doubled his tally six minutes into the second half with a neat finish.

Williams got in on the act soon after, while Bolasie also saw his effort ripple the net to round off the scoring.

Crystal Palace will now continue their preparations with a match against Lazio on Saturday before they kick off their Premier League campaign eight days later against Tottenham.
