Paris Saint-Germain are due to meet up with LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham on Wednesday in order to discuss his future and offer him a contract, Le Parisien reports.

Beckham has a contract which runs until the end of the MLS season in November, and PSG are eager to lure him back to Europe once his current deal expires.

The club’s sporting director, Leonardo, recently revealed that he is keen to sign the 36-year-old for the Ligue 1 giants, and the club’s Qatari owners have now decided to travel to Los Angeles in order to offer him a contract until June 2013.

The French side are ready to make Beckham the club’s top earner alongside star player Javier Pastore, meaning that the midfielder would earn close to five million euros a season if he accepts the contract offer.

They will, however, face stiff competition from clubs such as Queens Park Rangers and Tottenham in the race for former Manchester United and Real Madrid services, but they are hopeful of receiving a final decision by October 15.
