Italian daily newspaper Il Tempo is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain are in pole position to sign Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia.

Following a slow start to his career at Stadio Olimpico, the 29-year-old has seriously raised his game of late and appears to have caught the eye of Europe’s top clubs.

According to Il Tempo, Paris Saint-Germain are seriously considering a summer bid for his services, but they could face stiff competition from Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Lazio are believed to be holding out for at least €25 million, although they would probably consider any serious proposal.

Lucas Biglia has amassed 45 Serie A appearances for the Biancocelesti, while featuring in all seven matches at the 2014 World Cup as Argentina finished as runners up.

Lazio play host to Fiorentina this evening in a match that could prove crucial to their top 3 hopes, with home win paying 11/10.

Monaco eyeing Sporting youngster

Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola has learned that Monaco are keeping close tabs on Sporting Lisbon midfielder Wallyson Mallmann.

The Principality club boss Leonardo Jardim is well aware of the youngster’s qualities having coached him at Estadio Jose Alvalade.

And with Wallyson not currently in the first team plans of Sporting coach Marco Silva, Monaco are prepared to offer him an escape route from Lisbon.

The 21-year-old is one of the first names on club’s wish list and the French giants are expected to come forward with an official proposal in the coming months.

Wallyson has yet to be handed his league debut, but he has impressed playing for the reserves, while making four appearances for the senior side in Taca da Liga.

The talented footballer has a contract until June 2019 with Sporting, and his release clause stands at €35 million.

M’Vila nears Dynamo switch

Rubin Kazan midfielder Yann M’Vila is expected to join Dynamo Moscow at the end of the season, L’Equipe can reveal.

The French footballer was on the verge of completing a short-term loan to Arena Khimki, but the deal could not be wrapped up before the winter transfer deadline.

Nevertheless, L’Equipe has claimed that the negotiations between the parties continue as Dynamo are expected to recruit the 24-year-old in the summer transfer window.

As things stand now, it appears that M’Vila will remain on loan at Inter until the end of the season before he signs for his new club.

The France international has seen his stock decrease significantly over the last couple of years, and he will be hoping to kick-start his career at Dynamo.

M’Vila has made a total of eight Serie A appearances while on loan with Inter, but he last played for the Nerazzurri more than two months ago.
