PSG meet Isco’s agent

Spanish outlet Marca have quoted reports from France which claim Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has held a meeting with the father and agent of Real Madrid’s Isco.

Isco has been a very important player for Real Madrid since his arrival to the club in 2013. He has been heavily involved in all of their successes in that time, which includes four Champions League trophies, but he has never nailed down a guaranteed starting spot. The appointment of Santiago Solari at helm after the sacking of Julen Lopetegui has seen him play significantly less than before, and he is now constantly being linked with a move away from Santiago Bernabeu.

PSG were interested in the 26-year-old Spanish international before, when Unai Emery was their head coach, but they failed to make progress in a potential deal. Now, however, they are hoping his dissatisfaction at Real will work in their favour and that they will succeed in prizing him away.
