Paris Saint-Germain are set to make a bid for Chelsea’s Willian, according to Sky Sports and their sources.
The Ligue 1 champions seem to have been properly rattled by the injury of Neymar that is set to keep the Brazil star out of action for three months, with a Manchester United double feature on the horizon. Willian is apparently seen as the man to fill in the gap.
The winger, who was left on the bench and made a second-half appearance in Chelsea’s 4-0 humiliation at the hands of Bournemouth on Wednesday, was a subject of interest from China, as well as La Liga champions Barcelona. He has a year and a half remaining on his current contract, and Chelsea remain firm in their stance that he is not for sale. They see him as a valuable part of their team as they strive to return to the Champions League next season.
