PSG to confirm Gueye signing next week

Paris Saint-Germain are close to signing another player this summer transfer window. After Ander Herrera and others, now it could be time for Idrissa Gana Gueye from Everton! PSG are confident they will announce the Senegalese midfielder this coming week, after months of rumours about his potential arrival.

Gueye was one of Senegal’s best players in the African Cup of Nations, where they reached the final, losing 1-0 to Algeria in the last match of the tournament. It was firstly expected for Gueye to spend a few weeks in Senegal after the AFCON tournament, but now Le Parisien claim he could be rushed to France in a few days to complete his dream move to the Ligue 1 champions.

Everton were eager for player to stay at the club, but after basically making him stay last January, they knew the chances of keeping Gueye would be minimal. Now, PSG are expected to pay around €30m for the 29-year-old.
