PSG to offer Mbappe new €50m-per-year contract

Paris Saint-Germain are working on a new contract for Kylian Mbappe, according to reports in France.

The sensational youngster exploded to the scene as a part of the AS Monaco team that managed to beat PSG to the Ligue 1 title in 2017, the only team to do so in the last seven years. The Parisians then wasted no time to bring him in and they made him the second most expensive player in the world, after Neymar. Since then, the forward has played in 92 games in the PSG shirt and scored 62 goals.

During the summer he was linked most heavily with Real Madrid, but nothing happened with further reports claiming the Spanish giants have decided to make him their primary target, their “Galactico”, next year. More recently, fresh reports appeared claiming Manchester City might enter the fray for his signature, and now, Barcelona are apparently considering him as a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.

Therefore, Le10Sport claim that PSG are willing to offer him a staggering €50 million per year in wages to get him to sign a new contract, one that would bind the 20-year-old to his current club until 2024.
