Competition: Championship
Market: QPR to win against Wigan
Odds: 28/11 @ 888 Sport

Queens Park Rangers are hoping to rescue their season by earning promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking via the playoffs. They travel to face Wigan Athletic who too have spent their first season back in the second tier and are looking to quick return back to the top-flight.

Rangers ended the season considerably better than that of the Latics. Harry Redknapp’s men won three and drawn one of their last five games, while Wigan have lost five and drawn two of their previous 10 games. Uwe Rosler’s men have also taken just one point off the Hoops in their two league meetings this season.

As a result, 888 Sport are backing Queens Park Rangers with odds of 28/11 to win their first leg of the Championship playoff semi-finals. With Wigan having conceded nine goals in their last four games, they’ve ended the season poorly after showing much more promise a few months back.
