Internazionale manager José Mourinho has dropped Ricardo Quaresma and Mario Balotelli from the team’s squad for Sunday’s Serie A clash with Napoli.

the two players did make an appearance as substitute during Inter’s Champions League match with Panathinaikos, which the Greeks won 0-1.

“They have been left out of the selection because they didn’t work hard enough during the match and in training,” said the Portuguese manager.

Mourinho also commented on the Champions League defeat: “We should quickly forget this. We still haven’t deserved to advance to the next round of the Champions League.

“We qualified thanks to luck and an important win in Athens in our first game.”
