Mundo Deportivo have relayed a report that Adrien Rabiot has rejected a third offer of a new deal from Paris Saint-Germain.
The offer apparently stood at €7.2million per year, but the midfielder wasn’t interested in accepting it. There were reports a while back that he would demand a round figure of €10million per year from his potential suitors, but his reasons might, after all, be more related to football matters.
The 23-year-old has strongly been linked with Barcelona and Liverpool, though the links with the English club were quickly dismantled and dismissed by their local outlet Liverpool Echo.
It seems at this point that Rabiot either really wants more money, or simply doesn’t want to play for PSG anymore being enamoured by an interest from another club. Whatever may be in store, the situation is set to be resolved soon as the player is free to talk to other clubs from January.
