Peter Crouch has been the subject of a lot of paper talk this summer. Most tabloids were linking the lanky striker with a move to Portsmouth, but now the Daily Mail has revealed that Tottenham will table the more attractive offer for the Liverpool player.
Harry Redknapp publicly stated last week that Liverpool wanted too much money for Peter Crouch. The Daily Mail reports that Crouch would be available for around £9 million, but Portsmouth is unwilling to pay that kind of cash up front and would instead look to pay part of the money in installments.
But Juande Ramos would not hesitate to give Benitez the £9 million he craves and walk away with the Portsmouth target, according to the same report. And, he would also offer an additional £6 million for unsettled winger Yossi Benayoun.

Can’t see it happening, as neither player is in the mould of what Ramos has bought already so dont see it happening. Also In the mirror or sumin they are saying he is going to arsenal so its probably just paper talk to either get harry to pay the amount wanted or from someone else. Dont think the gunners would go for it either. Never been a fan of Benayoun and really couldnt see why Liverpool bought him.
PLEASE GOD NO!!!! dont let us sign crouch, he wouldnt look out of place playing for Crawley Town and aint worth 1 million let alone 9!!!
Of all the strikers why Crouch he couldn`t score for Liverpool he`s not going to score for Tottenham. Benayoun he`s no good & you don`t need him you have Modric & Dos Santos!!!!
